Welcome to Koala’s Collectibles ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
Koala’s Collectibles is an independent hobby business based in the Maryland / Virginia / Washington D.C. ("DMV") area specializing in the resale of authentic collectible Pokémon trading cards, including raw singles, graded slabs, and sealed product. We are a private reseller and longtime collector.
2. Authenticity Guarantee
Every card and sealed product listed on this site is authentic. Raw cards are personally inspected before listing. Graded slabs are sold in the exact grade and condition assigned by PSA, BGS, or CGC. If a card you purchase from us is ever determined to be counterfeit by a reputable grading company, we will issue a full refund upon return.
3. Orders & Payment
- Orders are confirmed via email within 24 hours of placement.
- Accepted payment methods: Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or cash in person at card shows.
- Payment must be received in full before shipment.
- PayPal "Goods & Services" is strongly recommended for buyer protection. Payments sent as "Friends & Family" or via Zelle carry no platform-level protection and are only recommended for trusted repeat customers.
- Items are reserved for 48 hours after order placement; unpaid orders may be re-listed after that window.
4. Shipping
- Orders ship within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
- Domestic shipping via USPS Priority with tracking. Flat rate $4.99; free on orders $150+.
- Orders containing items valued over $500 require signature confirmation at no extra cost.
- Orders over $1,000 ship insured for full declared value and may be sent via USPS Priority Express.
- International shipping available on request; buyer is responsible for all import duties and taxes.
- Once a package is in the carrier's possession, we are not responsible for carrier-caused delays or damage beyond the insured value.
5. Returns & Refunds
- Graded slabs and sealed product are sold as-is and final sale once shipped, as grade and sealed status cannot be re-verified after the sale.
- Raw (ungraded) singles may be returned within 7 days of delivery if the card's condition is materially different from the listing description. Buyer must provide clear photos showing the discrepancy.
- Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless we made a listing error.
- Refunds are issued within 3 business days of receiving the returned item in its original condition.
6. In-Person Transactions
For cards valued over $1,000, we offer in-person pickup at public locations in the DMV or at scheduled card shows. In-person sales waive all shipping fees and allow both parties to inspect the item before payment. High-value buyers are encouraged to select this option when checking out.
7. Pricing & Availability
- All prices are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without notice.
- Inventory is unique — most items are one-of-one. A listed item may be sold in person between site updates. We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a refund if an item is unexpectedly unavailable.
- Any price history, trend data, or population report information linked from this site is provided by third-party services (TCGPlayer, PriceCharting, PSA) and is outside our control.
8. Offers & Negotiations
On items priced $100 and above, buyers may submit an offer via the "Make an Offer" feature. We respond to all reasonable offers within 24 hours. Submitting an offer is a non-binding expression of interest — no transaction is complete until both parties confirm terms and payment is received.
9. Intellectual Property
Pokémon, all related trademarks, character names, and card imagery are the intellectual property of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., Game Freak Inc., and The Pokémon Company. Koala’s Collectibles is not affiliated with or endorsed by these entities. We sell authentic products in the legitimate secondary market and use product imagery solely to identify the items being resold.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koala’s Collectibles’ total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
